Work you’ll do:

As a Manager on the Tracking & Trading Service Center team, you’ll be part of an innovative new team where you will use your customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills to:

  • Directly support and assist Partners, Principals, and employees with understanding and maintaining their Tracking & Trading portfolios, so that it accurately reflects their Financial Relationships
  • Co-lead the Tracking & Trading Service Center team (US and India) by managing team members, operational responsibilities, and day-to-day activities
  • Collaborate and assist team management and leadership in areas of reporting in areas such as metrics and team performance
  • Provide coaching, training, and guidance to team members on a regular basis
  • Closely collaborate with leadership to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and team efficiencies
  • Gain a detailed understanding of existing policies, internal guidance and protocols, and function as a process knowledge expert
  • Evaluate conclusions reached by team members in order to confirm accurate and consistent outcomes
  • Coordinate with other teams to ensure that our internal customers are served seamlessly
  • Contribute ideas and content for the monthly team meeting and demonstrate the ability to lead team meetings
  • Work on special projects as directed by leadership to meet the team’s overall objectives
  • Efficiently create and deliver high impact presentations to the team and leadership

Independence & Conflicts Network

The Independence & Conflicts Network (ICN) team performs a critical consultative, quality-assurance and risk-management function for the Deloitte US Firms, helping the organization remain unbiased and free from conflicts-of-interest, in fact and appearance, when providing service to attest/audit clients. Independence requirements are defined by specific sets of policies, external rules and regulations, so maintaining both the independence of the Deloitte US Firms and personal independence is essential to the business and reputation of Deloitte.

Qualifications

Required:


  • 5-8 relevant experience
  • Bachelors’ degree (preferably business, finance, or accounting)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated by impactful, clear and concise writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to confidently communicate with Deloitte Partners, Principals, and employees
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience managing professionals or teams, including in a virtual environment across the US and India
  • High degree of professionalism and discretion with the ability to handle confidential data
  • Proficient in standard office-productivity tools (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Strong organizational skills demonstrated by ability to organize and maintain several key responsibilities at once, while managing ad hoc requests
  • Initiative to co-manage the Tracking & Trading Service Center team with minimal supervision or oversight
  • Ability to effectively work independently, and as part of a team, in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to present ideas and business recommendations for the continuous improvement of processes
  • Ability to identify team member strengths and improvement areas and provide detailed feedback plan for continued development
  • Limited sponsorship may be available.
  • Ability to travel to Stamford office every Wednesday

Preferred:

  • An understanding of Independence requirements for professional auditing firms
  • Experience working in a large corporation or accounting firm
  • Strong technical background
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to effectively coach, develop and mentor staff

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,600 to $181,900.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
