Position Summary

We are looking for the next generation of innovators and dreamers to join our Digital Reality (DxR) team helping our clients imagine a future of augmented experiences, virtual worlds and mixed reality applications. Immersive Producer in Rosslyn VA

You’ll play an integral role within our fast-paced interdisciplinary team to manage the production process for interactive, immersive, and engaging solutions delivered to our clients.  Working with business leads, you’ll be responsible for the overall project cadence from kick-off to sprint planning, milestone deliverables, and project close-out. You should be prepared to interact with clients regularly, understanding their goals and addressing or escalating roadblocks.


What you'll do

Track day-to-day activities for a cross-functional team of designers and developers, leveraging Agile methodology

Work with stakeholders and teammates to interpret business needs and translate them into objective-driven experience requirements

Establish regular communication between the creative team and account teams / clients

Provide quality assurance review and testing of deliverables prior to client handoff

Articulate and defend conceptual and directional choices, representing the studio’s work directly to stakeholders

Foster internal communication, transparency, and accountability through meetings and collaboration tools as appropriate

Track project burn rates regularly to predict necessary changes in schedule and/or resources

Contribute to pre-sales activities such as development of labor estimates, project schedules, and/or assumptions and specifications


What you have

Minimum two years of relevant consulting, digital agency, or industry experience

Minimum two years of direct experience in Agile process design (including backlog grooming, scrum mastering, product estimation, sprint planning and review, and/or product ownership)

Minimum two years of experience managing cross-functional teams

Minimum one year of direct experience in games or immersive media

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong presentation and group facilitation skills

Ability to hold or be eligible to obtain a security clearance

Ability and willingness to occasionally travel to/from client sites and event locations

A self-motivated, problem-solving attitude

Bonus points

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in game production, business management, or other related field

Experience working with clients on educational or functional applications (i.e., not pure entertainment)

Experience working in the Unity3D game engine and Adobe Creative suite of tools

Experience using Git code repositories and versioning tools 

Willingness to learn new things and teach others what you know

Desire to research and develop eminence in the area of immersive media
