Work you’ll do
As a Consultant within our practice, you will:
· Assess effectiveness of IT controls in accordance with NIST 800-53 criteria and FISCAM methodology
· Work directly with client to develop corrective action plans and validation of deficiency remediation
· Manage third party risk through monitoring of service providers, SSAE 18/SOC reports, Complimentary User Entity Controls testing/remediation
· Understand Risk Management Framework through policy development and implementation guidance/training to enhance Air Force cybersecurity posture
· Communicate and manage relationships with audit stakeholders, including Independent Public Accountant, system owners, and executive leadership

Our team helps clients prepare for financial close, address compliance regulations, improve process and controls around financial reporting, and implement new accounting requirements. Our practice can provide the support organizations need with a comprehensive approach to tackle the most challenging accounting and financial issues that impact risk within an agency environment.
Qualifications
Required:
· Ability to obtain and maintain the required Secret clearance for this role
· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or Information Technology/Systems or another Business-related field
· 2+ years of experience performing IT audits and/or auditability assessments
· 2+ years of experience in reviewing, analyzing and validation IT/cybersecurity information
· 1+ years in a technical or functional lead role (Senior Consultant)
· Knowledge of IT controls and audit, FISCAM, NIST 800-53, FFMIA, OMB A-123 Appendix D
· Consulting experience in any of the following areas: business process improvement, IT and cybersecurity policies and procedures, financial system audit, etc.
Preferred:
· Familiarity with DoD financial systems and FIAR guidance
· Certifications including CISA, CPA, CISSP
· Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
· Experience managing senior-level client relationships
· Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
