Work you’ll do
- Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex projects
• Provide project and career counseling/coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staff
• Manage day-to-day interactions with clients and internal Deloitte team, including leading regularly recurring meetings and managing staff hours and assignments
• Direct analytic approach strategy and provide analytic expertise to staff and clients
• Display both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues
• Provide expertise and develop capacity in healthcare analytics to support federal and state/local program integrity efforts
• Display leadership and business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions
• Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities providing input and guidance into the staffing process
• Support business development and proposal creation/management, client service, and project management

The I&I team supports our GPS clients by delivering capabilities across the investigative lifecycle in the regulatory, civilian, law enforcement, health, and national security domains. Our professionals help our clients to identify, combat, and mitigate national security threats such as fraud, money laundering, sanctions violations, cybercrime, threats of terrorism, human trafficking, narcotics trafficking, litigations, and disputes.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required in relevant field
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
- Ability to travel 0-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- 7+ years of professional experience in data analytics field
- 2+ years of managing and building capacity in analytics teams
- 3+ years of advanced Python experience
- Expertise in federal healthcare policy, Medicaid claims data, and program integrity
- T-MSIS (Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System) data experience REQUIRED
- Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
- Experience with healthcare fraud analytics
- Experience leading and managing interdisciplinary teams of junior and mid-level analysts
Preferred:
- SAS experience highly preferred
- Masters Degree in Health Policy, Statistics, or related field
- Extensive experience with Medicaid, MCO, or other claims data in a FWA context
- Experience with identifying potential fraud, waste, and abuse
- Experience with program and policy evaluation
- Quality assurance and metrics development capacity
- Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience
- Business Intelligence or analytics communications experiences
- Experience leading and growing AI/ML teams
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,616 - $185,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
