Role description

The HR Strategy and Transformation Digital Enablement team implements core, firmwide Talent applications leveraged to support key Talent strategies and processes. As Talent identifies opportunities to transform the way we deliver services, technology solutions will need to be implemented or updated to provide an enhanced experience to our professionals and to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness improvements across Talent. 

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented team member to support the Digital Enablement team with providing Talent technology operations and advisory support with a focus on Deployment solutions (Talent Resource Management). This position will support existing Deployment technologies and have an opportunity to support exciting work as we enhance technology capabilities and implement cutting edge solutions. This lead will serve as a liaison with technology teams, manage system escalations and provide guidance regarding Deployment technology tools. The lead will also need to demonstrate strong project management skills and be very collaborative to facilitate workstream meetings, create project materials, support design and user acceptance testing.

Work you’ll do

As the Digital Enablement Lead you will:

  • Support the Digital Enablement Manager with projects, technology operations and consultative services for Deployment.
  • Lead and deliver day-to-day support services leveraging incident management and access management tools; provide incident support particularly outside of the USI support team shift.
  • Prepare and present leadership updates to communicate support trends and opportunities.
  • Triage issues and escalate for resolution when needed; demonstrating an understanding of when to escalate and to whom.
  • Collaborate with Talent and Business stakeholders, Technology teams, and vendors to optimize performance of Deployment tools and identify impactful enhancement opportunities
  • Develop and mentor USI Digital Enablement system administrators to include training, guidance on incident resolution and process documentation.
  • Prepare and manage project plans, risks, issues, and key decisions tracker.
  • Coordinate with Talent process owners to ensure the appropriate Talent representation is included and engaged in requirements gathering, design and testing activities.
  • Support user acceptance testing, including preparing/reviewing test materials, identifying, and tracking testing resources and testing status, reporting on test results with the project team.
  • Assist with release management and testing, change control and governance.
  • Perform other role-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years relevant work experience
  • Background and experience with project management support to implement new Talent systems and processes, from ideation thru deployment phases
  • Problem solving skills and consultative approach with an ability to collaborate with team members on best practices
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Works well in a dynamic, complex, client- and team-focused environment within minimal oversight and an agile mindset
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excited by prospect of working in a developing, ambiguous, challenging situation
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (e.g., PowerPoint, OneNote, Word, Teams)
  • Strong Excel capabilities (e.g., vlookups, pivot tables)
  • Knowledge of the professional services industry is preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
