Position Summary

Grant Application Reviewer

Deloitte’s Brand Operations Services is looking for experienced professionals to support initial grant application reviews. The professional will review grant applications across three grant programs for completeness and accuracy.  Using an online tool/checklist and user guide, the cursory reviewer will follow prescribed steps to review and advance applications in the review process. This is a full-time, temporary, remote based position that will be 3-5 months in duration.

Project Details & Requirements:

  • Review grant applications for eligibility and completeness
  • Support the correction of incomplete applicant information
  • Enter application-specific data into the grants software program
  • Work with senior application reviewers to route deficient applications to the appropriate party for resolution
  • Work as part of a team to ensure the efficient completion of reviews to meet stringent deadlines
  • Work full-time for project duration during regular business hours remotely


  • Bachelor’s Degree or minimum of one year, professional work experience and high school diploma
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Proficiency with all current technology and Microsoft Office 365 programs, including, but not limited to:
    • iPad / tablet / notebook / smartphone functionality
      • Comfortable with both android and apple systems
      • Ability to download and interact with mobile applications
      • Comfortable utilizing tablet as additional display for laptop
    • Laptop functionality
      • Video conferencing software (i.e. Zoom)
      • Ability to utilize multiple web applications (at least 3) simultaneously
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Online software programs for data entry
  • Able to work independently and without direct supervision, while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role


  • 1 year of professional government-client-facing consulting work experience 
  • 1 year of professional, full time work experience related to writing, reviewing, processing, or editing government grant application documents
  • MS Office 365 certifications (any)
  • Public Trust Clearance
