The Business Recruiting Leader (BRL), reporting to Deloitte’s National Talent Acquisition Managing Director, will lead and drive comprehensive strategies to identify, attract, engage, and hire talent for Deloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) business within US and USI. The BRL will work closely with key business and talent stakeholders to ensure the Talent Acquisition (TA) strategy is in alignment with the GPS business strategy and the broader Talent agenda. The role will manage the recruiting delivery team ensuring successful execution of the short and long-term TA strategic priorities as well as delivering against demand.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to work effectively, anticipate challenges and develop contingency plans in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, while managing a flexible workforce to meet the needs of the business/client.
Work You’ll Do
- Develop, lead and direct Deloitte’s GPS talent acquisition strategy utilizing deep understanding of target talent populations (including entry level, experienced and PPMD/Executive), and a strong foundation in talent acquisition, to identify the areas of greatest opportunity to meet the business’s needs. Align resources to deliver against demand within the business and industries they serve
- Serve as senior recruiting subject matter expert providing strategic advice/counsel to Talent and business leadership on forward thinking recruiting, programs and processes to help guide and ensure business specific goals are developed and executed
- Drive strategies and programs to identify and engage top talent in support of Diversity Equity and Inclusion hiring goals
- Identify opportunities to advance Talent Acquisition goals, continually experimenting and influencing new ways of delivering the complete candidate experience
- Cultivate and leverage talent marketplace insights to provide a point of view to drive decision making on Talent Acquisition priorities and execution
- Partner with Talent and functional teams on both operational and strategic priorities, including Finance, Immigration, Deployment, Development, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, Compensation and OGC
- Develop and monitor overall recruiting budget ensuring cost optimization. Work closely with TA Leadership and GPS leaders on business cases for resource and investments to support optimized delivery
- Effectively coach and mentor teams (both inside and outside of direct reports); provide opportunities for collaboration, and professional development to enhance the experiences of the teams
- Ensure national program guidelines and policies are implemented consistently throughout teams
- Identify networking opportunities to enhance Deloitte brand image and continued professional development
- Collaborate across TA teams, both other business delivery recruitment teams as well as nationally focused programs teams to bring insights across TA as well as drive national programs within business recruiting team
The team
Deloitte’s Talent Acquisition team collaborates with the business and across the Talent organization to provide strategic insight into the recruiting vision. The team advises on, implements, and executes the recruiting strategy, providing full-lifecycle recruitment recruiting services. Teams are aligned by business and type of hire - campus, experienced and Partner/Principal/Managing Director recruiting. This role sits on the DEI Strategy and Programs team within Talent Acquisition.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related area
- 15+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 12 years of Talent Acquisition leadership experience
- Advanced understanding of campus, experienced, and PPMD direct admit / Executive-level recruiting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $131,500 to $256,330.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
