Position Summary

Purpose of the Position

Contingent Workforce Services (CWS) is a unit in the GPS Contingent Staffing Solutions (CSS) group. The Lead Administrator works with Deloitte engagement teams to identify, onboard, and maintain contractor resources on commercial engagements.


  • 5-7+ years’ experience in account management in the contingent workforce industry
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Ability to demonstrate and understanding of information technology concepts and tools including:
    • A strong understanding of emerging IT concepts and tools. Must be able to converse with IT professionals (at all levels) regarding IT skill requirements
    • Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle
    • Ability to screen IT resumes for technical and functional skills
  • Strong understanding of both the consulting industry and the contract resource procurement process (i.e. knowledge of contracts and contractual language; knowledge of US human resource laws, policies and practices; general knowledge of visa processing)
  • Strong prioritization skills, including the ability to balance multiple high priority tasks and re-prioritize as needed during the course of a work day. Strong organizational skills and careful attention to detail
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment and make a significant contribution toward achieving team goals and objectives
  • Experience working in VMS/ATS systems (i.e. Fieldglass, beeline, etc)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.


Project Onboarding

  • At direction of On Demand Resource Manager, conduct CWS introduction with new engagements/practitioners via a live conversation
  • Gain an understanding of the size and scope of the engagement
  • Articulate the CWS process, including the reasons behind the processes that are in place. Focus on benefit to the project but also mitigating risk to the firm
  • Set expectations on bill rates, procurement time frame, and possible challenges to filling the engagement’s needs.
  • Make recommendations on sourcing strategy at the project level: project specific suppliers, alternate sourcing models (bulk buy, academy)
  • Direct the creation of project records in Fieldglass
    • Create reqs, work orders, & schedule interviews as necessary
  • If appropriate, set up a project/supplier calls to discuss the overall project, immediate and future needs, etc.

On-going project management/relationship building

  • Handle end-to-end contractor procurement activities
  • Conduct ongoing project maintenance
    • Provide monthly insight into sourcing performance for engagement team: supplier performance, turnover, rates, etc.
    • Conduct regular forecasting with engagements to determine their ongoing needs
  • Ensure the follow up with projects on contractor end dates and obtain feedback on contractors that are rolling off
  • Ensure that project records, work orders, reqs, and timesheets are kept up to date
  • Provide monthly (or more frequently as needed) updates to CSS leadership on project activities
  • Follow up after calls with emails summarizing discussions, action items, deadlines, etc.

Procurement Strategy

  • Gather feedback from engagement teams on candidate submittals/interviews
  • Partner with Category Manager to recommend changes in sourcing strategy to the engagement team based on challenges/successes
  • Ensure project specific policies are met

Contribute to CWS Growth

  • Share lessons learned with other CWS Team members
  • Collaborate with the team on ways to improve the services provided by CWS
  • Provide growth opportunities to Administrators and Senior Administrators
  • If teamed with an Administrator:
    • Provide clear, immediate feedback to team members – both positive and developmental
    • Feedback must be documented in an email with copies to the team member’s coach and the CSS Leadership

Career Growth

  • Build knowledge and eminence in order to drive CSS exposure with Deloitte Leadership
    • Areas of focus can include: Client Group, Offering Portfolio, Industry, Function, other member firms, etc

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $78570 to $144695.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
