Work you’ll do
The Client Financial Operations Lead is a leader in the account and acts as a financial liaison between the health & human services clients and CORE teams. A primary responsibility is working with local state clients, as well as nationally, to develop strategies to maximize their funding by leveraging optimized cost allocation methodologies. Other responsibilities include supporting clients in their federal financial reporting and reconciliation, internal/state financial reporting, and supporting clients in developing necessary APD related materials and presentations. The Lead will oversee and manage client funding to maximize available funding and create budgets for project spending. This role requires a proactive individual who can navigate complex financial landscapes and deliver results that align with our clients' business objectives.
As a Project Delivery Manager in the group you will be responsible for:
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop long-term financial strategies that support their business goals and objectives by optimizing cost allocation.
- Lead Client Budget Management: Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive client budget plans tailored to the client and organization for future growth.
- Risk Management: Identify client financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure fiscal stability and expansion.
- Compliance: Ensure all client financial activities comply with federal and state regulations, and company policies.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of PMO professionals to achieve excellence in client service and financial management.

Qualifications
Required:
- Ability to support engagements of greater than average size and complexity
- Ability to lead multiple teams and multiple clients with confidence
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to mentor and manage junior staff and further their professional growth
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
- Must have 7 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 7 years of work experience in each of the following:
- Deep understanding of client financial management including federal guidance on cost allocation;
- Developing, maintaining, and coordinating client project financial business processes, budget cycles, reporting, and reconciliation;
- Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to develop payment schedules and associated reporting to satisfy client needs;
- Hands on experience defining financial strategies, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions;
- Superior critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- Prior professional services or government consulting experience
