Position Summary

Functional Lead, Oracle Retail Order Broker and Order Management

Join our Deloitte Digital Customer Strategy & Applied Design team! We focus on helping our clients increase and capture customer value through thoughtful strategy, analytics, innovation, and product and service design.


We’re eager for you to join our team and to bring your technical expertise in to help our growing e-commerce, merchandising, and retail operations business. Specially, your experience with Oracle Commerce Cloud and related areas will contribute to streamlining order processing and enhancing resident experiences.


 

Work you’ll do


You are the voice of the people. In all of your interactions - with clients, project managers, designers, engineers, and more - you'll advocate for what users want, need, and expect from the products we create. You're innovative, quick-thinking, and eager to learn more about what's happening in the interactive space. Your E-Commerce platform skills are top-notch, and you have a knack for making the complex clear. 

  • Configure and maintain Oracle Retail Order Management and Order Broker systems, including defining business rules, workflows, and order processing configurations
  • Manage end-to-end order processing lifecycle, including order creation, validation, fulfillment, and tracking
  • Ensure accurate and timely order execution
  • Provide functional assistance to users, addressing inquiries and clarifying platform features
  • Resolve order-related issues and escalations promptly
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement and collaborate with development teams to implement functional updates




Qualifications 


Required: 


  • 2+ years of experience in Oracle Retail Order Management and Order Broker implementation or related field
  • Proficient in Order Broker functionality, configurations, and business processes
  • Understanding of e-commerce platforms, retail operations, and customer journey analysis
  • Experience providing functional support, user assistance, and issue resolution in an e-commerce or retail environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve


Preferred: 


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong understanding of E-commerce processes, customer journey, and online retail best practices.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your experience, storytelling, and design presentation skills
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills to insure meaningful engagement and partnership with project stakeholders
  • Prior experience in reviewing existing systems and processes to identify UX issues and develop UX recommendations
  • Experience with modern design tools like Sketch, Figma, Axure, Principle, Framer, and InVision 
  • Strong leadership ability in the areas of user research, feature design, wireframing, updating a design system, and usability testing
  • Experience communicating complex ideas graphically within a complex environment (public sector preferred)
  • Experience leading Stakeholder Workshops
  • Proven ability to drive the design direction in terms of user interaction and design patterns
  • Experience with Agile Software Development Methodology
