Position Summary

Front End Software Engineer for ConvergeHEALTH, Deloitte Consulting, LLP

ConvergeHEALTH is Deloitte Consulting’s healthcare innovation and technology product arm and is committed to making value-based, personalized health care a reality.

This role is aligned with ConvergeHEALTH’s newest product, CareConductorTM, which allows healthcare provider systems to orchestrate virtual patient care, reducing the burden on hospitals and enabling a seamless digital care experience for patients.

In this role, you will help design, build, and deliver a solution that re-imagines the healthcare landscape. The platform will enable our clients to orchestrate new digital health experiences by blending disparate data sources (EMR, IoT, PGHD) and creating services that curate a differentiated healthcare experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues
  • Work on a new development, bug fixing and improving application performance 
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
  • Perform unit testing and participate in integration in collaboration with other team members

We Expect You to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred; or the equivalent years of relevant work experience and/or education required.
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience developing cloud, enterprise applications, preferably within the health care industry
  • Proven working experience in modern JavaScript programming at both server-side and client-side
  • Extensive experience developing single page, responsive web applications using the following tools: ReactJS and NodeJS Frameworks. 
  • Hands-on experience in user-friendly, responsive UI/UX design with HTML/CSS and modern CSS frameworks 
  • Experience with REST API development, application integration and SSO. 
  • Hands-on experience with SDLC concepts and tools e.g., Jira, Git, Confluence, Jenkins, Concourse Artifactory, etc. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work well independently and as a team player
  • Ability to juggle many competing priorities/deadlines
  • Limited sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and clients and industries/sectors you serve

We’d Like You to Have:

  • Nice to have working experience in Python programming 
  • Experience working with JSON data
  • Working knowledge of RDBMS and SQL 
  • Experience in agile software development methodology, and use of agile software development productivity tools (i.e., JIRA, Confluence)
