Work you’ll do
As Contract Support for the Office of Logistics Business Office, the Strategy Consultant will assist Logistics with routine Pricing analyses, leading the annual and mid-year exercises. The Strategy Consultant will support pricing by (i) conducting accounting and demand forecast exercises, (ii) using accepted cost accounting methodologies such as Activity-Based Costing (ABC) and Standard Costing to assess the full-cost of operations, (iii) categorizing costs as direct, indirect, and overhead, as well as assessing whether costs are variable or non-variable, (iv) and conducting trend analysis and customer outreach to build demand forecasts for all products and services. This analysis will help our clients price products and services to breakeven, and a level of collaboration, data-driven analysis, and effective communication is required. To be successful in this role, experience with (i) collecting data from source financial and operation systems, (ii) creating cost models from all expense inputs, (iii) considering scenarios that could result in cost changes, (iv) identifying cost drivers and (v) calculating the unit cost per service is needed.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to maintain the required security clearance for this role -active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- 2 years: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel)
- 2+ years' experience with financial statement analysis and/or audits (debits, credits, revenue)
