The team
The Transformation group is a small internal consulting group that supports the Deloitte CFO in shaping and executing strategic initiatives. Some examples of these initiatives include leading a Finance Transformation for global Deloitte firms, assessing FA’s organizational structure and strategic priorities, accelerating the growth and enabling the advancement of our talent through workforce transformation, capitalizing on technology disruption by identifying and implementing digital finance solutions, and helping the Deloitte businesses achieve predictable, profitable growth.

Work you’ll do
The Transformation team is looking for an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Summer Associate to support the design, implementation, and evolution of change strategies and plans to engage, inspire, and motivate people to embrace the significant changes that are required to drive the business forward. The OCM Summer Associate will work with senior business leaders to understand their needs and address them through executable strategic change initiatives. We are looking for someone with strong change management and communication abilities who has deep experience in creatively managing change within complex organizations.
You will be assisting managers and senior managers in the Transformation group who support Finance strategic initiatives. These initiatives are high visibility projects sponsored by the Deloitte CFO and leadership team to help Finance achieve its long-term goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the execution, analysis, and reporting of adoption assessments to develop the change plan and drive improved adoption
- Perform stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments for key stakeholder groups as required
- Develop key messaging across stakeholder groups and drive review cycles
- Recommend and coordinate engagement activities to support leadership in communicating the changes to stakeholders
- Partner with other change and communications teams to develop and disseminate content into appropriate channels and ensure alignment with branding and communications protocols
- Develop enablement materials for change networks to articulate the vision narrative to support them in cascading key messages
- Work closely with subject matter experts across the program initiatives and leadership to ensure coordination of transformation messaging across all topic areas
- Liaise with other workstreams to provide updates from the change team and collect information to be incorporated into the change management plan
Qualifications
Required:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other areas with a strong interest in internal consulting type roles
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred
- Strong academic track record (preferred minimum 3.2 GPA)
- Comfort with ambiguity along with the ability to assist in logically structuring issues and resolutions
- Strong executive presence and the ability to work with and influence senior leaders
- Extremely high attention to detail with exceptional writing and editing skills
- Ability to generate and execute creative ideas related to making communications engaging and distinctive
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team, but also be a self-starter
- Demonstrated strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and make decisions on multiple time-sensitive projects
- Strategic thinker with the ability to make connections across workstreams and matrixed organizations
- Excellent proficiency in MS PowerPoint
- Strong commitment to integrity and confidentiality
