Position Summary

Finance Systems Portfolio SAP S/4 Senior Analyst (US)

The team

Finance Systems serves as US finance application portfolio subject matter experts, to implement and manage innovative solutions and changes through governance and change management to meet the technology needs of finance and the US firm. Joining the team provides an opportunity to drive the future vision of the Finance organization.

The work you’ll do

Finance Systems is looking for a SAP S/4 Portfolio Senior Analyst to support the operation, enhancement, and integration of finance-led systems. In this role, you will support the management of a portfolio of finance systems, while developing subject matter expertise. In this role you will act as the liaison between Information Technology and various Finance stakeholders to provide insight on SAP S/4 system changes and design.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Ability to bring business perspective to defining long-term sustainable solutions
  • Excellent written and conversational communication skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to logically structure issues and determine recommended resolutions
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to work well under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team, but also be a self-starter

 Responsibilities include:

  • Research and resolve S/4 HANA application issues & data integrity issues
  • Conduct research and analysis of finance processes and / or SAP system issues
  • Monitor and provide status on issues impacting the firm’s ERP system
  • Provide developers with business requirements
  • Partner with testing team to share knowledge and advise on test scripts
  • Collaborate with business and process area representatives within Finance and ITS
  • Evaluate manual and automated financial work processes, systems, and procedures for efficiency of workflow and accuracy
  • Identify and recommend needed process improvements
  • Analyze system design alternatives for new financial accounting systems, processes and /or improvements to existing systems
  • Review and monitor accounting systems to ensure accuracy with financial reports

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, business, or related field
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience; previous work experience with a professional services firm preferred
  • Understanding of finance systems and processes especially experience with SAP S/4 HANA and supportive finance applications.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Experience with client WBS structure, Contracts, Work in Progress (WIP) management, Planning, Forecasting, Billing and Accounts Receivable is a plus
