Finance Systems Change Manager
The team
Finance Systems implements and manages innovative solutions and changes in the US Finance application portfolio through governance and change management to meet the technology needs of finance and the US firm. Joining the team provides an opportunity to drive the future vision of the Finance organization.
The work you’ll do
Finance Systems is looking for a Change Manager to support the design, implementation, and evolution of change strategies and plans to engage, inspire, and motivate people to embrace the significant changes that are required to drive the business forward. The Change Manager will work with business leaders and application users to understand their needs and address them through executable strategic change initiatives. We are looking for someone with strong change management and communication abilities who excels in creatively managing change within complex organizations.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform quantitative and qualitative assessments such as stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments for key stakeholder groups to drive development of data-driven change strategies
- Develop and manage the execution of fit-for-purpose change management strategies and plans; collaborate across program and technical teams to remain integrated with broader program / roadmap plans
- Understand and utilize the appropriate communication outlets, vehicles, and tools – including Deloitte Brand and other requirements – in executing communications and trainings\
- Work with Deloitte publication points-of-contact to ensure adherence to submission dates, templates, and standards
- Identify training needs and develop content tailored to the stakeholder groups
- Plan, develop, and work with leadership and change networks to deliver communications and creative engagement activities, driving understanding about key changes
- Measure effectiveness of change interventions and evolve plans as needed to best drive adoption
- Work closely with subject matter experts to develop an understanding of Finance application portfolio to inform change strategies
- Work with leadership to escalate and resolve risks and issues
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, change management, organization effectiveness or communications
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in change management and/or communications related to strategic transformations and technology implementations; previous work experience with a professional services firm preferred
- Strong executive presence and the ability to work with and influence senior leaders
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to logically structure issues and determine recommended resolutions
- Strategic thinker with the ability to make connections across workstreams and matrixed organizations
- Desire and drive to understand complex finance systems and processes
- Project management skills with demonstrated experience successfully managing a cross-functional or cross-departmental team on a complex project
- Extremely high attention to detail with exceptional writing and editing skills
- Ability to generate and execute creative ideas related to making communications engaging and distinctive
- Ability to work well under pressure and effectively and professionally navigate tough situations
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team, but also be a self-starter
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint
- Ability to travel 20-30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred:
- Experience with SAP and supportive finance applications
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93000 to $171300.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
