Position Summary

Job Summary

Understand the IT financial drivers and make recommendations to leaders on how to develop and then manage their budget and forecast, and Identifies ways to ensure consistency, efficiency and transparency in the financial and operational metrics that are used to understand the value that technology brings to the business. Performs various financial analysis and hardware inventory reporting for Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM), including assisting with budgeting, planning, management reporting and analytics and assist with other areas within the ITAM organization, must have knowledge of ITAM processes, the Leased Asset Management database (LAM), and provides ITAM project coordination. This position must be able to prioritize task and work independently, interacts with technology leadership, technology support team and client service teams at all levels.

Duties and Responsibilities

Participate in the annual budget planning process which includes collaborating with the ITAM leaders to understand assets needs, analyzing changes from the prior year, and assisting the ITAM leadership with preparation to share budget for stakeholder conversations.

A subject matter expert of organizational asset management policies and processes. Works with regional asset management team to develop processes for Asset Management and technology teams. Provides management with asset data reports with analysis of trends and tracks costs and makes recommendations for forecasting and regional load balancing of assets.

Assist with the period financial analysis process including forecast and analysis of our position respective to plan.

Prepares laptop purchase orders using in house ordering system and submits orders directly to suppliers. Works with vendors to resolve procurement issues and track orders to forecast.

Prepares and maintains purchasing reports for management review, monitors future spend forecasts and adjust as needed based on analysis.

Evaluates client requests for financial impact and determines if additional approvals are required and escalates as appropriate. Corresponds with internal clients at all level and coordinates procurement of items as requested by clients (internal). Updates asset inventory status and location in the national asset management repository. Monitors and checks asset reports regarding shipping of firm assets and assignment compliance.

Works with ITAM team to ensure availability of computers for new hires, EOLs, acquisitions and provides forecasting and planning for future needs.

Works with acquisition team to determine cost analysis, forecasting and recovery of cost.

Responsible for monitoring and disposal of assets from across regions and provides updates to property accounting to adjust fixed asset database.

Lead projects and efforts of others that result in the improvement of our IT Financial Management maturity level in order to increase the value and depth of information available for IT leadership decisions.

Identify ways to ensure consistency, efficiency and transparency in the financial and operational metrics that are used to understand the value that technology brings to the business.

Completes analysis of cost impact for projects and initiatives as it pertains to computers.

Provides information for audits, performs research for audit request and prepares reports to auditors, internal and external.

Preferred Skills

Superior customer service, communication skills and soft skills along with the ability to build rapport and strong business relationships with the user community. Experienced in providing team support in a fast-paced environment. Role requires the ability to interact with all levels in the organization including senior leadership. Candidate will possess strong Organizational & Time Management skills, MS-Office products including MS Outlook & must be strong in Excel. Position requires the ability to solve problems using Organizational, Time Management and Consultative skills

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements

A+, ITIL, IAITAM certifications a plus

Bachelor’s Degree in financial Field or min 5-8 years equivalent work experience in the asset management and financial field.

Ability to work overtime and possible weekends/holidays as required.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is $78,570 to $161,330.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
