Deloitte is seeking a FRCS Operator to work on a project in Japan. The team primarily focuses on building and maintaining sustainable facilities, delivering utilities, and providing Navy expeditionary combat force capabilities.

Work you’ll do
The FRCS Operator will help support FE within an OT Operator support role key responsibilities and required expertise include:
- Supporting the setup and operation of a Facility and Energy Operations Center and a Smart Grid system
- Serving as the SME on industrial communication protocols, participating in design and submittal reviews, adhering to industry standards, monitoring the SCADA systems
- Ensuring quality assurance, providing optimization recommendations
- Conducting operational analysis, collecting and analyzing operational data
- Performing quality assurance through analytics on ICSs
- Implementing reliability and resiliency metrics
- Assisting with system integration into the Smart Grid system, supporting industrial system operation and maintenance on relevant systems including telecommunications, energy, or water treatment
- Performing STIGs and SRGs, and conducting ACAS scans and generating reports
- Identify and assess risks in the OT/IT environment and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Understands OSI model and can implement security hardening.
- Support development and maintenance of RMF documentation and artifacts. Coordinating with ISSM and HQ teams for RMF package progress and updates.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- At least five years of related experience, including military or civilian roles.
- Understanding of control systems architecture, including hardware and software components.
- Basic knowledge of networking principles, including IP addressing, subnets, and network security.
- Protocol familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, OPC, and BACnet.
- Cybersecurity awareness of cybersecurity best practices and standards for OT environments (e.g., NIST SP 800-82, ISA/IEC 62443).
- Strong troubleshooting skills, ability to analyze system performance data, and experience in diagnosing and resolving technical problems.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, engineers, and management.
- Knowledge of BACnet MS/TP, BACnet/IP, ModBus, OPC and other industrial communication protocols
- Proficiency in configuring and managing SCADA systems for building automation and industrial processes, with experience in various industry-leading platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of SCADA software and hardware, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Comprehensive understanding of industrial processes monitoring and controls, such as telecommunications, energy, or water treatment
- Experience with energy-management technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with ACAS scans, applying patches and implementing DISA STIGs and Benchmarks
- Experience supporting activities to achieve and maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- Knowledge of utility-specific information and operational technology is desirable
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $92,981 to $179,438.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
