Position Summary

GPS Experiential Marketing Manager —Government & Public Services 

If you are an event marketing leader with deep event (digital and in person) and content marketing expertise who is passionate about taking events and content to the next level, we’d like to talk to you. We are looking for a marketing leader to lead our Government and Public Services (GPS) Experiential Marketing team who will play a role in enhancing our overall event and content marketing effectiveness.

The Experiential Marketing Manager serves as a trusted advisor to strategic marketers, business leaders, and key internal stakeholders in this high-growth industry sector. In this role, you will lead event strategy, planning, management, and activation across conferences, client signature experiences, and other events. You will serve as a trusted advisor to our strategic marketers and business leaders across the industry.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaboration:Working across multiple teams, including business leaders, members of other marketing teams, internal and external communications teams, alliances, and agencies to ensure marketing alignment to business priorities as well as execution of the strategic marketing plan against KPIs
  • Portfolio planning: Helping to ensure we are taking the most strategic approach to our event and content marketing investments. Look for ways to improve our marketing spend, including identifying cross-leverage opportunities. Align on a calendar of priority events, signature experiences, and conferences
  • Event Planning, Event Strategy, Event Activation, and Event Management: Lead in the strategy, creation, planning, logistics, and execution of events, experiences, and conferences processes
  • Event Production and Management: Coordinate strategy, planning, logistics, schedules, invitations, booth design, vendors, registration, on-site execution and oversight, and more, to create a seamless, turnkey stakeholder experience and environment, to foster greater connections with our clients and prospects – elevating Deloitte's brand in the market
  • Sponsorships & Partnerships: Manage third-party content sponsorships Gov Exec
  • Impact Reporting: Help set KPIs for ROI and ROO, track progress and gather data for use in executive-level reports, focus on qualitative and quantitative story-telling considering the impact on future tactics and events
  • Budget Management: Plan and manage details around multi-activation event marketing and sponsorship budgets for events from $10,000 to over $1 million

Qualifications

We are looking for an experiential marketer with over 8 years of experience in strategy, experiential marketing, content marketing, planning, marketing or digital strategy, and strong familiarity with both in-person and digital experiences.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience
  • Ability to travel 10%-15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Experience managing details around multi-activation event marketing
  • Experience managing third-party content sponsorships in the Government space
  • Experience planning and creating content and experiential campaigns, promotions, and partnerships
  • Experience with agile frameworks and principles

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,300.00 to $140,600.00. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
