The team

The Executive Service Center plays an integral role in supporting the success of the practice by providing a variety of administrative services to our Partners, Principals, and Managing Directors (PPMDs) in a highly collaborative, fast-paced and service-oriented organization.

 

Work you’ll do

 

A successful intern candidate will thrive in a team environment, provide excellent customer service, possess a degree of self-confidence and executive presence, exercise discretion and diplomacy in all interactions, have the ability to proactively anticipate and manage challenges, be a self-starter with strong abilities to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize appropriately, and work efficiently. Candidate will be introduced to various business activities with the ability to enhance skill sets through project management, teaming, client experience and customer service:

 

  • Project management – own logistics of scheduling, coordination and formatting content for meetings, trainings, etc.
  • Technology - assist executive coordinators in the support of PPMD clients using various technical systems and applications. Gain exposure and understanding of support platforms including Deloitte Time & Expense, TRIPS, Aspire and Outlook.
  • Teaming - engage with various groups to gain exposure to and assist with support of clients within Advisory, Audit, Consulting, Tax and Internal Services. Join new hire onboarding sessions to gain insight of Workplace Experience, Performance Expectations and the Business of Deloitte.

  

Qualifications

Required:

  • Junior standing in a full-time liberal arts academic program
  • Demonstration of leadership responsibilities in co-curricular activities such as athletics, volunteerism, campus clubs, Greek life, etc.
  • Experience that demonstrates excellent customer service skills, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good technical skills, including the ability to learn and master a variety of internal custom business applications. Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with knowledge of proper grammar, punctuation and spelling.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • The start date for this position will be in 2021

 

Preferred: Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.2 preferred)
