Work you’ll do

Working on some unique projects in our sector, you’ll have the opportunity to assist end users by providing production support. Your time will be spent not only working on break fixes and testing and maintenance, but also working on enhancement requests.   

Essential Functions:

  • Perform analysis, design, development, and maintenance of the Epic Billing application and related clinical information systems. Configure vendor applications and products. Develop and modify system configurations to meet design requirements and conform to organizational build guidelines and best practices. Proactively identify impact of changes upon other applications and downstream systems.
  • Collaborate with end users to design, maintain and Optimize their existing Epic build to suit their current day needs.
  • Follow compliance procedures such as obtaining sign-offs before modification of system configuration or migration to production.
  • Understand physician, medical assistant, documentation, and other clinical workflows and apply that knowledge into system composition.
  • Understand and apply IT service management principles in meeting the client needs.
  • Create and maintain all necessary documentation for application implementation, support, and changes.
  • Provide support for the software and related integrated elements. Troubleshoot and track issues and problems. Audit user-entered data.
  • Lead and participate in large group meetings with stakeholders from physician groups, information systems, clinic operations, reporting, ancillary departments, and others. Document main points, issues, and key decisions.
  • Conduct testing for quarterly updates, ad-hoc changes, release authorizations and new workflows. Ensure test scenarios are adequately documented. Monitor behavior of recently migrated components in the production environment.



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • 2-3 years of Epic Billing Certified (Hospital Billing and Professional Billing) analyst experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with the Epic Billing module, Microsoft Office and Visio preferred.
  • Have strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

·       Ability to identify issues, prioritize and problem solve to resolution

  • Willingness to take up new opportunities and undergo certification process
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy and constantly changing environment.


  • Experience in Support and ITIL Processes
  • Has agile scrum work experience for executing day to day activities and reporting to scrum team.
