Position Summary

Manager, Software Solutions Specialist

In the Technology Specialist Manager role, the incumbent will lead efforts in enterprise software administration, design, configuration, and analysis, system landscape planning and experience managing technical projects in an SAP environment. In addition, the professional will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans, policies, and procedures, solve technical issues and negotiate challenging delivery timelines.

Illustrative Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages enterprise software administration, design, configuration, and analysis, particularly for S/4 HANA serving global clients over multiple countries and regions.
  • Develops and implements business plans, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborates with various departments and business teams to prioritize enterprise resource planning (S/4 HANA ERP) solutions
  • Evaluate results within business unit to determine if organizational objectives are being met. Ability to learn, understand and anticipate business team requirements and prepare.
  • Analyze and resolve enterprise software issues and needs - including improvement of system efficiency, integration of software applications solutions, such as SAP S/4, Gateway, PI, GRC, HANA and various vendor solutions. Manage specific system environments, client needs and lead teams to prepare and solve technical and business process solutions.

Required Technical Skills

  • Experience supporting full lifecycle implementations, including analysis, design, testing and configuration of SAP ERP solutions
  • Working knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA and landscape
  • Working knowledge of HANA Studio, ABAP, SQL to analyze and troubleshoot data related issues
  • Data conversion techniques, procedures and processes.
  • Understand, learn data flow in systems, plan, manage, execute data for operational and training purposes.
  • Interpretation of data and reporting results
  • Subject Matter Expertise in applying business risk, pricing, forecasting concepts to technical software delivery for ERP systems.
  • Providing configuration, testing, cut-over, conversion and post go-live support for new product design & delivery as well as existing products’ enhancement projects.
  • Converting business requirements into functional specifications; interpreting and translating functional specifications into technical specifications, including creating high-level designs for the requested developments

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements

  • Project execution model experience: SAFe, Agilist, Kanban, waterfall

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of related experience including subject matter expertise in area(s) managed, as well as at least one year of leadership responsibility.
  • Previous professional experience in managing development efforts for enterprise level custom software solutions.
  • Previous professional experience managing technical integration of custom software solutions with other custom and 3rd party enterprise systems
