Work you’ll do 


  • Review and analyze engineering solutions to various power systems 
  • Prepare reports studying power, microgrid and transmission 
  • Assess current partnerships with utility companies, including contracting structures as they relate to advancing energy security initiatives
  • Actively participate in development of business and vendor relationships
  • Serve as a "Subject Matter Expert", adding experienced insights into client challenges
  • Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process
  • Participate in pre-sales, proposal, and RFP initiatives
  • Provide counseling & coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staff

We work collaboratively to help agencies plan, finance, develop, build, and deliver the next-generation of infrastructure across the Federal Government, State Governments, and Local Municipalities.  The client issues we tackle include transportation, energy/renewables, connectivity, social and health infrastructure, disaster response and recovery monitoring, and smart infrastructure. 

 

Qualifications 

Required: 


  • Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering or another related field 
  • M.S. in Electrical Engineering
  • Currently certified as a PE
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance 
  • Ability to travel 40%-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and the industries/sectors you serve
  • 10+ years of experience in power, microgrid, or transmission and distribution engineering 
  • 10+ years of experience in feasibility studies and implementation of large-scale energy project opportunities
  • 8+ years of experience providing engineering and technical analysis for problem definition, requirements development, and implementation

 

Preferred: 

  • Previous Professional Services Firm or Big 4 experience
  • Currently certified as an AIA, PMP, PSP, or CCM
