Work you’ll do
- Review and analyze engineering solutions to various power systems
- Prepare reports studying power, microgrid and transmission
- Assess current partnerships with utility companies, including contracting structures as they relate to advancing energy security initiatives
- Actively participate in development of business and vendor relationships
- Serve as a "Subject Matter Expert", adding experienced insights into client challenges
- Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process
- Participate in pre-sales, proposal, and RFP initiatives
- Provide counseling & coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staff

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering or another related field
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering
- Currently certified as a PE
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Ability to travel 40%-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and the industries/sectors you serve
- 10+ years of experience in power, microgrid, or transmission and distribution engineering
- 10+ years of experience in feasibility studies and implementation of large-scale energy project opportunities
- 8+ years of experience providing engineering and technical analysis for problem definition, requirements development, and implementation
Preferred:
- Previous Professional Services Firm or Big 4 experience
- Currently certified as an AIA, PMP, PSP, or CCM
