Position Summary

E&A New Partnership Opportunities – Partnership formations lead

This position offers the unique opportunity to work across the Consulting organization and develop connections with leaders across our Offering Portfolios and Industries at Deloitte, while supporting our senior leaders to launch important go to market relationships. It is highly visible to leadership and will offer the individual to contribute not only to the growth of our E&A strategy but also to individual businesses and our third-parties as they go to market together. 

Work you’ll do

This role will manage the new alliance and high priority marketplace business relationship formations for the Consulting E&A team, be responsible for all reporting and accurate tracking of all new alliances, manage the activities associated with the alliance formation process and provide guidance to new alliance teams after formation. It also offers the individual the opportunity to help E&A redefine and continuously improve the value of our go to market relationships and help improve our speed to market for new partnerships. Primary activities will include:

  • Help drive solid business cases for new partnerships
  • Manage all activities that interface with groups needed for vetting and approval of alliances
  • Support our new alliances to realize their value through education and alliance launch support
  • Manage all alliance pipeline activities to provide transparency to business
  • Lead strategic projects within the E&A organization that help the Deloitte business teams to drive additional revenue through enabling our newest alliances

Deloitte’s Consulting Ecosystems & Alliances Team is a part of Deloitte Consulting LLP’s National Office practice. Our Alliances partner with leading companies in a variety of industries to create value added services and solutions for our clients. The team is made up of professional alliance managers, alliance marketers and technical architects who understand the principles that drive successful alliance relationships. Together, they enable differentiated, innovative go-to-market solutions between our practice and alliance partners that bring quantified value to our clients and incremental revenue to the firm. You'll work closely with team members to share best practices and leverage marketing programs and initiatives; create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Learn more about Alliances at Deloitte. 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or other business-related field OR Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field and strong business acumen
  • Executive presence and maturity to help coach business teams and offer guidance to senior leaders
  • Familiarity with alliance go to market activities and be able to communicate effectively
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organization skills
  • Ability to add value to new alliance business cases; good understanding of the technologies relevant to the Deloitte alliance program
  • 4+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Proven ability to coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders and teams concurrently
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working independently to manage work and solve problems
  • Ability to identify and execute process improvement opportunities
  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word as well as Internet research tools and database tools
  • Up to 20% travel required

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Mercury
  • Knowledge of Third Party Risk Management Gateway (TPRM) and Independence constraints
  • E&A experience
