Position Summary:

Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance (A&A) practice is experiencing tremendous growth in Sustainability and ESG Services. This position plays an integral role in supporting the success of ESG by performing a variety of practice management, administrative and project activities. The successful candidate thrives in a fast pace team environment, is extremely organized and detail oriented, and is confident to make decisions.

This remote position reports directly to and works collaboratively with the ESG Chief of Staff to coordinate, execute, and deliver work products on behalf of the ESG leader. Significant interaction with the ESG Leader and the ESG Chief Operating Officer (ESG COO) is expected.

Limited travel (up to 10%) will be required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage email boxes for ESG leaders. Serve as the central coordinator for incoming internal requests (e.g., LCSP, CPE sessions, cross-functional) and external requests (e.g., client and target opportunities, stakeholder groups, eminence) for A&A ESG leaders and senior level professionals to engage in internal, client, and external discussions and presentations. Triage requests and provide end-to-end support and coordination until request is fulfilled.
  • Exercise strong decision-making skills to properly triage requests across ESG leaders, professionals, sector leaders and champions.
  • Utilize problem solving skills to resolve scheduling conflicts as demand for ESG leaders and professionals’ time increases.
  • Demonstrate executive presence and build quick rapport with internal and external stakeholders. This position requires interacting and corresponding with executive and senior level leaders at both Deloitte and external organizations.
  • Support ESG practice management, administrative and culture building activities, including but not limited to new team member onboarding, ESG townhalls, lunch and learns, ESG leader meetings, and ESG Sector Leader/Champion meetings, and ESG All Hands offsite meetings.
  • Support strategic initiatives and other priorities through in-depth analysis and reporting; assist with compiling reports and gathering data for executive briefs.
  • Provide ad hoc slide development, as needed.
  • Develop and share innovative solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness; demonstrate forward-thinking skills as the ESG practice continues to grow.
  • Manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately and with a high level of discretion.

To be considered for this role, a candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 3 years professional experience.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced business area.
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills; a critical and innovative thinker who can navigate gray areas, anticipate problems, formulate solutions and act accordingly.
  • Experience that demonstrates business acumen, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and the ability to learn and master a variety of internal business applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
