Position Summary

As an experienced EPIC certified (Clarity and/or Caboodle) Data Governance Consultant-Project Delivery Senior Analyst you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. Work you’ll do/Responsibilities  

  • Active Epic Certified Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interfaces between hospital's Epic Clarity, Caboodle data warehouse and various healthcare information systems
  • This role will require to work in Data Governance, with a focus on establishing data quality frameworks and processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of your data
  • Expert level of understanding Data Dictionary, Data Catalog, Data Lineage and Metadata concepts
  • Work on content management activities.
  • Interact with stakeholders and IT team to troubleshoot Epic system issues and problems related to break-fixes and other support activities.
  • Resolve issues or incidents reported by end users and escalate any quality issues or risks with team leads/scrum masters/project leaders.
  • Interact with end-users to help communicate enhancements/improvements needed for business processes.
  • This role provides outstanding client service and contributes to the organization’s mission of utilizing information technology to improve patient care.
  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

As a part of the US Strategy & Analytics Offering Portfolio, the AI & Data offering provides managed AI, Intelligent Automation, and Data DevOps services across the advise-implement-operate spectrum.

Qualifications

Required

  • Active EPIC Certification in Epic Caboodle
  • 3 or more years of experience in Epic Clarity and/or Caboodle 
  • 3+ years of recent experience in Epic enhancements, break-fixes and support activities
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and other regulations that impact hospitals and clinics preferred
  • 3+ years of recent experience with US healthcare workflows working as a consultant.
  • 3+ years of documentation skills such as - Application understanding, change management etc.
  • Ability to understand Service Level Agreement (SLA) methodology and follow the same as per engagement requirements.
  • 3+ years in a Data Governance or similar role, with a focus on establishing data quality frameworks and processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of your data
  • Expert level of understanding Data Dictionary, Data Catalog, Data Lineage and Metadata concepts
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and other regulations that impact hospitals and clinics preferred
  • Basic knowledge of messaging formats used in healthcare integration (HL7, FHIR, EDI, CSV, XML, etc.).
  • Experience with healthcare/clinical data domains and concepts.
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with Business concepts, processes, information, and data.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to story tell.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • Remote role but must have the ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
