We are looking for a creative, and highly motivated individual to join our team physically based in/or near Huntsville, AL. We offer opportunities for growth and advancement. Currently, we are seeking a Human Resources Specialist (Intermediate) to support federal client in a remote work environment.
Support planning, execution, and implementation of civilian personnel actions for integrating HR programs and procedures among functional areas:
- Track, analyze, edit and report personnel actions related to recognition programs.
- Assist with performance management activities, including reporting, assisting supervisors with the assessment tool, and verifying supervisory hierarchies.
- Facilitate receipt, distribution, and completion of certificates of eligibility to hiring officials, schedule interviews, and prepare and coordinate required personnel staffing packages.
- Provide HR program management support and communications.
- Update, draft, and research HR-related policies and documents.
- Assisting with HR-related actions, in/out processing, and other functions as needed.
- Provide training support as needed.
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports using Microsoft Excel formulas and pivot-table functionality and Microsoft Access queries with a superior level of data quality, integrity, and accuracy.
- Comprehend the use of metrics, trends, and work monitoring to ensure the completion of timely/quality work.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of HR experience
- Active DOD Secret Security clearance required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform independent analytical research to identify and resolve data integrity issues, and support systems impacting client's manpower tracking systems.
- Understanding of data models, data mining processes, and querying relational database structures; ability to communicate analysis insights to executive-level management.
- Excellent customer service, time management skills and identifying trends
Preferred:
- Federal and or DoD Human Resources experience highly desired
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Access
