Position Summary

M&A and Restructuring Services (MARS) is a Strategic Growth Offering (SGO) that spans all four of Deloitte’s functional businesses. The National MARS team supports the cross-functional MARS leadership team by leading and executing strategic projects and initiatives that support our strategy and growth ambition. We play a key role in providing connectivity and building engagement across our complex, multifaceted practice.

Our team is seeking a Manager to help refine strategic priorities and achieve key milestones working with the cross-functional MARS leadership team. The DEI/Talent Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic programs that educate and enable professionals across MARS to act on and advance the US Firms’ DEI shared goals and commitments while building and strengthening communities. To do this, the Manager partners with the MARS DEI leaders and supporting teams as well as National DEI Leadership. This professional is also expected to provide support, as needed, for a variety of Green Dot talent-related initiatives including purpose, well-being, hiring, onboarding, retention, and community-building.


  • Collaborate with MARS DEI leaders and PMO team to develop and deliver a portfolio of programs, initiatives, processes and/or tools to advance DEI shared goals and commitments across MARS, including but not limited to:
  • Recurring cohort-specific community calls (including logistics, agenda, content, stakeholder management, and execution)
  • Well-being and Purpose-related initiatives and offerings
  • Manage/assist with a variety of cross-functional Talent projects and special initiatives, including but not limited to:
  • Support the strategic planning, content development, execution and measurement of select internal cross-functional events, such as our MARS PPMD Summit and local office Roadshows
  • Contribute to MARS strategic priorities and create engagement through the development, promotion, and measurement of internal community, crowdsourcing, and innovation campaigns
  • Oversee the ongoing management of the cross-functional MARS community roster
  • Aid with programming for hiring, onboarding, retention, and community-building projects
  • Manage program and process design; help frame operational objectives, build work plans and engage stakeholders and team members as needed to implement initiatives effectively and in a timely manner
  • Work with leadership to frame and develop executive level presentations, reports and dashboards that help communicate priorities, demonstrate progress, build buy-in and secure resources/support
  • Analyze and report insights from DEI related data sets that inform leadership decisions, team priorities, and program execution
  • Communicate with external vendors and agencies to identify offerings for the MARS practice; secure leadership buy-in, and lead on communication and execution
  • Regularly interact with and build productive relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders across MARS, National DEI, Business teams, and the broader Firm related to DEI and Talent matters
  • Create talking points, remarks, scripts and other materials in support of the MARS leadership team’s speaking opportunities and meetings
  • Address emerging priorities and perform other job-related duties as they are assigned.


  • 5+ years of related experience; 2+ years of experience in a professional services organization a strong plus
  • Background in Human Capital, Change Management, Organizations, and/or Social Impact fields a plus, but not required
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (PPT storyboarding, Excel formulas and pivot tables, Teams collaboration); data visualization experience a plus
  • Flexible work style with possible travel (up to 5%-10%)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize broad and/or complex data and information into clear, impactful messages and insights

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86425 to $159165. 

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
