Manager, Data Science - DevOps Data Science Manager - AI/ML
Deloitte Technology US is seeking a seasoned Cloud – AI DevOps Engineer who will work as part of a cross-functional agile team to launch innovative AI-driven Data and Analytics products. This role works virtually on a globally distributed team, but this individual must be based within the continental United States.

Work You’ll Do
This is an opportunity for an individual who would like to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data architecture across a diverse portfolio of applications. You’ll work with cutting-edge DevOps technologies develop advanced analytics products within cloud environments.
Stakeholders include our internal senior leadership teams and alongside a development team that includes an analytics engineer, Human Centered Design engineer/Designer, web developer and data engineers.
Additionally, you’ll be given the flexibility to explore and implement data collection methods and leverage both traditional and unconventional approaches to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
The successful candidate will possess:

- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience working independently as well as collaboratively across business and technical teams
The Team
The Deloitte Technology Office of CIO (OCIO) Service Assurance team offers analytics services to various teams within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). They seek to unlock the power of AI and provide actionable insights through specialized analytics and reporting.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- 6+ years working in an Information Technology field supporting Data Analytics/Engineering
- 6+ years of experience with scripting proficiency (in python, Bash or Shell) and architecture experience
- 6+ years of expertise in performance tuning databases, applications, or networks
- 2+ years with Cloud Engineering Tools (e.g. Azure, Google Cloud Platform/GCP, Amazon Web Services/AWS)
- 1+ years integrating Tableau, PowerBI, QuickSight, Looker, or other similar BI tools
- Minimum of 1 year people and/or leadership experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred
- Experience partnering with cross-functional business stakeholders to convey complex concepts and translate them to different audiences
- Understanding of tools such as DataProc, Vertex AI, and Databricks
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Terraform, Deployment Management) and DevOps tools and technologies (e.g. Docker, Jenkins)
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,100 to $208,300
