Work you’ll do
The Hybrid-Operate Pricing Analyst role (Pricing Desk) is responsible for supporting the sale of Managed Service solutions to clients/markets. Responsibilities may include:
- Costing and Pricing of New Managed Service offerings:
- Support multiple Hybrid-Operate pursuits as they arrive at the Pricing Desk:
- Work with the pursuit team to understand the scope and complexities of each deal.
- Using the existing Hybrid-Operate pricing model, generate the price for the pursuit team to share with the Client
- If modifications are required to the pricing model, work with the relevant teams to ensure the changes are made in the most effective and efficient way to meet the client requirements.
- Support ad hoc pricing/deal requests that arrive into the Pricing Desk.
- Support RFI and RFP response and pricing efforts as required.
- Work with other Hybrid-Operate team members to help create new custom cost/pricing models as required
- Ensure that all pricing and costing assumptions are documented as part of all pricing efforts
- Learn the various Hybrid-Operate solution and product sets.
- Provide support for various back office activities including CP3 data entry, Tear Sheet data, competitive analysis, etc.
- Assist with the operational “feedback loop” to ensure any lessons learned from recent transactions are baked into the standard pricing model when appropriate.
- Support the Hybrid-Operate Pricing Desk in the development of specific pricing templates for Deloitte’s Hybrid-Operate offerings for use by internal professionals (ex: RFI/RFP, Business Case, Proposal)
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance or other business disciplines
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Strong oral communication, written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Brings a positive approach, easy to work with and enjoys working with other accomplished professionals
- A strong drive to take action and to provide on-time detailed deliverables
- Advanced understanding of Windows-based applications including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel up to 25 percent of the time. (While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- The start date for this position will be in Summer/Fall 2021
Preferred:
- Strong academic track record (GPA of 3.2 preferred)
- Relevant work experience or work experience in a professional environment (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
