Position Summary

This summer, jump start your career and take your business skills to the next level when you join Deloitte Consulting LLP.  We are looking for entrepreneurial, ambitious and intellectually- curious professionals to join our practice as a Summer Scholar on our Casey Quirk team. As a Casey Quirk Summer Scholar, you will advise investment and wealth managers on business strategy.  The Summer Scholar role offers tremendous exposure to the world’s leading asset and wealth management firms.

The Casey Quirk Summer Scholar role is located in New York, NY.

 

Work you’ll do

The Casey Quirk Summer Scholar will play an important role on strategic consulting engagements and will:

  • Conduct industry research on the competitive landscape including firms, products, buyers and industry trends within the asset and wealth management industry
  • Perform quantitative analysis and build financial models for client projects
  • Develop quantitative and qualitative outputs in PowerPoint to support strategic recommendations
  • Assist with Casey Quirk’s thought leadership efforts and whitepaper productions
  • Participate in ongoing Casey Quirk professional development initiatives to better understand the industry
  • Help clients understand and react to the evolving global investment management environment
  • During your internship, you’ll broaden your consulting and leadership skills while developing your network of fellow students and Deloitte consultants.

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Junior standing in a full-time academic program with a target graduation date between December 2021 and August 2022
  • Bachelors degree in progress with a focus in economics, engineering, finance or accounting preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Outstanding academic achievement and demonstrated leadership
  • An interest in consulting and/or investment management
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to build Excel-based financial and operating models a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • A passion for learning, professional growth and knowledge sharing
  • A desire to be part of an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and fun team environment
