Work You will Do

As a Finance Transformation Consultant, you will work with diverse global clients across a wide range of industries. You will be on teams advising executives on how to enhance their organizations, systems, and processes. You will advise, implement, and deliver as-a-service solutions, helping our clients develop strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and create impact within their organization. You will have a variety of client-facing responsibilities such as analyzing issues, interviewing staff, formulating and making recommendations, and helping clients implement leading practice digital finance solutions.

Finance Insights & Transformation

  • This Consultant defines our clients’ organizational, financial, innovation, and growth strategies
  • This Consultant enhances our client’s business performance, productivity, and long-term profitability by designing our clients’ roadmap to the future
  • This Consultant helps clients rethink planning processes that drive convergence between demand-sensing commercial, supply chain and functional plans and better enable company objectives, while generating insights via reporting and analytics
  • This Consultant leads our clients’ exploration and application of emerging digital technologies, such as Blockchain, Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning
  • This Consultant has an experience with or an interest in building models with Anaplan, Oracle Cloud (EPM), Workday, OneStream, TRIRIGA, SAP, Trimble Manhattan and/or data science platforms (R, Python, etc.)
  • Majors or Areas of Study: Business, Finance, Analytics

Finance Operations

  • This Consultant collaborates with finance leaders seeking to elevate their accounting operations and treasury functions, workforce, and digital capabilities to deliver business outcomes that matter.
  • This Consultant shapes the client’s application roadmap by defining business requirements, building prototypes, architecting finance process flows, and bridging client Finance and Technology teams
  • Majors of Areas of Study: Finance, Business, Accounting

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree completed by Fall 2025 in one of these or related areas of study:
    • Finance
    • Business
    • Information Systems
    • Accounting
    • Analytics
    • Technology
  • Relevant work experience in consulting for corporate finance and/or a relevant industry (FP&A, Accounting, Financial Operations, Business Partnering, Financial Strategy, etc.)
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Visio and other presentation/analysis tools
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate is $115,000.
