Commercial Insights Senior Consultant Business Architect
Work you’ll do
As the Commercial Insights Sr Consultant Business Architect, you will support the Commercial Insight team’s day-to-day activities, serving as the bridge between the business teams we serve and the technical team who develops the solutions we deliver. You will be responsible for understanding & translating captured business requirements into actionable features to progress product development. The role will also require the ability to communicate to broad stakeholders with marketing materials for various products, lead ongoing projects with various teams across the Commercial organization, develop and present deliverables to stakeholders, and work with a high degree of agility. Organization, relationship building, and strong written / verbal communication will be critical success factors.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Building PowerPoints and other collateral (e.g., Excel deliverables, dashboards) to communicate various product’s value
- Collecting and documenting business requirements
- Program managing product development efforts
- Understanding user needs and the end user experience to inform product development priorities and adoption activities
- Supporting the portfolio of Commercial Insights initiatives, approaches, and tools
- Investing in the team’s sense of community and well-being
- Working with team members in both the US and India
The team
The Consulting Commercial Insights team is dedicated to delivering data-driven insights to end users all in support of increasing Deloitte’s win rate in the market. The team is focused on supporting Deloitte’s Commercial organization with data science analyses, tools, and projects to drive growth, improve effectiveness, and enhance differentiation in the marketplace.
The Commercial Insights team leverages a variety of emerging analytics and data science technologies to implement solutions across the business development lifecycle. By extension, the Commercial team enables the greatest success when it brings together the technology, data and analytics, organizational considerations, and end user perspectives to create a solution that intuitively integrates into users’ everyday activities.
Commercial Insights is part of the Commercial team, which supports the Commercial Organization spanning Sales Excellence, Client Excellence (LCP program), Marketing Excellence, and Ecosystems & Alliances. The Commercial team supports a significant volume of C-suite initiatives across the Deloitte matrix.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- 4+ years of professional experience, preferably with experience in technology, data science, or analytics. Sales, marketing, and / or strategy experience a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office experience, particularly in PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to connect the dots across various teams and navigate ambiguous situations
- Interest and experience in high-impact, strategic projects involving translating ambiguous ideas into structured, actionable recommendations
- Great attitude and excellent team player. Effective at sharing and communicating knowledge virtually and supporting teammates
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Tableau a plus but not required
