Position Summary

Delivery Quality Enterprise Performance (EP) Enabling Senior Manager

The Delivery Quality team within Delivery Excellence is seeking a Enabling Senior Manager who will be responsible for supporting quality processes within the Enterprise Performance (EP) Offering Portfolio and the M&A Offering Portfolio, as well as rolling out high visibility and high impact quality initiatives across the Consulting practice.

Ideal candidates will have experience with delivering and managing complex technology implementations with strong knowledge of the types of challenges and issues faced in delivery of technology services plus ways to address and minimize potential negative impacts.  

Work you’ll do

Quality Management

§  Responsible for advising Deloitte practice leadership on potential risks within the portfolio

§  Collaborate with Enterprise Performance, Delivery Excellence and project teams to identify, escalate and help resolve delivery quality issues and reduce margin leakage

§  Manage a team of Delivery Quality resources to monitor financial and other indicators on projects within each Offering Portfolio, and conduct deep dives/ follow ups with Finance and project teams, as needed

§  Facilitate checkpoints with Enterprise Performance leadership and provide insights into delivery quality issues and risks in their portfolio

§  Provide guidance on mitigation strategies, scope of services documentation and contract / project management practices to enhance delivery quality

§  Collaborate with Risk Managers to understand contractual issues on projects and recommend risk mitigation strategies

§  Facilitate engagement review process for high risk and high complexity engagements

§  Advise engagement teams on implementing good project management practices to help meet our contractual obligations

Technology Program Management

§  Responsible for designing, developing and rolling out high visibility quality initiatives and programs across the firm, working with cross-functional team resources from business, technology and training teams

§  Analyze trends around quality issues and root causes and recommend process and system improvements to minimize margin leakage

§  Facilitate and promote adoption of Deloitte Quality Review program and processes in the firm

§  Identify areas of operational improvements within the Delivery Excellence Team

The team

We are looking for people who are passionate about technology delivery and quality and solving complex business problems.



§  Education:

o   BBA/BA/BS in related field, Masters Degree is desirable

o   Experience Requirements: Minimum –5-7  years of technology delivery and implementation services and 10+ years of total experience

§  Experience in project and/or program management in a Technology environment

§  Ability to develop relationships quickly and work closely with executive leadership to understand specific risks/issues and provide guidance and mitigation strategies

§  Understands fully the sequence and services required to deliver technology implementation projects including various dependencies and other ancillary services

§  Experience in addressing scope management and change control processes with our clients as well as managing changes/impacts in an agile environment

§  Location: Flexible

§  Travel Requirements: Willingness and ability to travel approximately 20%, flexibility required based on candidate location and role


§  Experience identifying systemic issues/risks within a portfolio of projects and working with relevant parties to develop and deliver applicable training to the practice

§  Experience and ability to work directly with senior level individuals (internally and externally)

§  Experience in cross-functional team management

§  Experience in reviewing SOWs with a focus on incorporating actionable and measurable guidance to address specific risks around delivery execution

§  Strong oral and written communication skills

§  Ability to handle fast paced, multi-task environment

§  Ability to work autonomously
