Work you’ll do
The Strategy & Analytics Specialist Leader (Data Architect) will provide strategic support, direction, and oversight, and drive data and AI modernization efforts for our government public services (GPS) clients. They will be responsible for collaborating with executive level clients and stakeholders on business needs, creating strategic deliverables including business process assessments, strategic plans, visioning sessions etc. They will also be responsible for leading and driving client sessions and meetings, further developing these relationships, and leading high-priority business development efforts within the GPS sector.
The Specialist Leader (Data Architect) will lead the development of data management and the development of the processes and scripts required to transform and stage data necessary to develop products and conduct statistical analyses. Individuals are responsible for providing support to our clients to aid in their data management from ingestion through exploitation. The candidates may also be responsible for exploring and implementing new data enhancement tools and methodologies. The Data Architect will work within database design, data management, data pipelining, and ETL practices.

The GPS AI & Data (AI&D) offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance
- 15+ years experience in Data Engineering, Reporting, and/or Metadata management
- 5+ years experience with Databricks implementations, data migrations, and building out a scalable architecture
Preferred:
- Active Secret or Top Secret+ US Security Clearance
- Databricks Certifications
- Experience building cloud-based platforms to help enterprises build, scale, and govern data and AI, including generative AI and other machine learning models
- Critical thinker who asks questions, digs-in, comes to new conclusions based on the findings
- Excellent communication skills: comfortable and experienced communicating to senior management and colleagues across functional areas
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities with key focus on delivery and client orientation
