Work you’ll do

As a People Analytics Consulting Data Analyst, you will engage with clients to deliver actionable data-driven people insights and data analytics strategies to make informed business decisions on their people. You will develop quantitative and qualitative data and analytics methods and identify actionable insights and help our clients make informed business decisions across multiple areas of human capital issues including, but not limited to, attrition, DE&I, mobility, skill, and talent acquisition. Additionally, you will also engage with clients in the development of their people analytics vision through analytics maturity assessments, analytics opportunity identification, roadmap development, and supporting roadmap execution.

 

  • Perform exploratory data analysis and data pre-processing to arrive at patterns and trends
  • Perform root cause analyses to provide “next-level” insights on key business questions
  • Triangulate various data sources (e.g., internal client HR data, survey data, qualitative data, external data) to be able to tell a story that addresses business questions
  • Collaborate with data scientist colleagues to design, build, review, iterate and validate predictive models using multiple statistical techniques
  • Develop data visualizations that highlight key insights to help clients make informed business decisions related to human capital issues
  • Interpret, understand, and present results to clients, with a strong focus on actionable insights
  • Define top client business questions and challenges by conducting client interviews, synthesizing findings, and identifying key themes coming out of discovery work

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, data science, computer science, actuarial science or related field of study
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience manipulating data, analyzing trends, and drawing data-driven business insights
  • Excellent exploratory data analysis and data visualization skills and ability to synthesize data-driven analysis to tell a compelling story
  • Advanced visualization skills using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview, etc.
  • Excellent documentation and quality check skills
  • Ability to understand key business questions and define data-driven solutions that will generate insights and support decisions around these questions
  • Interest and passion for data analytics, insight extraction, and actionability
  • Travel up to 20% (while 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
  • Must be willing to relocate or live within a commutable distance to Lake Mary, Fl, Mechanicsburg, PA or Gilbert, AZ.
  • Limited Immigration Sponsorship may be available

 

Preferred

  • Experience in People or HR Analytics and familiarity with various HRIS data sources
  • Working experience with Python and/or R/SAS to manipulate data or perform analytics
  • Experience with statistical analyses, such as correlation and regression
  • Familiarity with more advanced analytics solutions and machine learning
  • Specialty knowledge and skills (e.g. text / sentiment analytics, network analysis, social media and web scraping, etc.)
