Work you’ll do
- Implement risk management programs by utilizing NIST, FISMA, HIPAA, and PII.
- Document complex technology, data protection, confidentiality, and data residency solutions.
- Monitor the privacy landscape for regulatory changes surrounding data privacy, data protection, data confidentiality, data classification, and data residency.
- Assist clients with identifying gaps within existing privacy programs and designing solutions to help address those challenges.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
- 4+ years’ experience in managing, producing, and executing privacy impact assessments (PIAs), system of record notices (SORNs), and privacy threshold analyses.
- Experience building and maintaining analytics data pipelines
- Experience working with US privacy legislation such as Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), stated privacy laws, state data breach laws, and the capability to apply regulatory requirements within an operational context
- Experience documenting complex technology, data protection, confidentiality, and data residency solutions
- Experience with Data Discovery and Management Solutions including Data discovery, cloud native data protection technologies.
- Experience with data management principles by establishing, updating, and enforcing retention policies.
- Experience with data governance in cloud data services and data lakes, primarily with automated data discovery and classification, access controls and visibility, and data obfuscation capabilities.
- Experience must include independently drafting long-form, narrative privacy compliance and transparency documents that fully assess and explain privacy risks and mitigation of those risks.
- Experience must include independently liaising with program/business, information technology, and information security personnel to identify data and privacy risks at all stages of system and program development, and collaboratively develop mitigation strategies.
Preferred:
- Hold at least one Data Protection and/or Privacy certification such as, CIPP, CIPT, ISEB, etc.
- Product certification including OneTrust
- Current Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) or greater certification
