Work you’ll do:

Responsible for performing all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Interfaces with user community to understand their security needs and implements procedures to accommodate them. Ensures that user community understands and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain security. May require familiarity with domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures. Conducts accurate evaluation of the level of security required. May require understanding of firewall theory and configuration. Must be able to weigh business needs against security concerns and articulate issues to management. Frequently reports to a Data Security Administration Manager.

Qualifications:

Required: 

• Master's degree with 12+ years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience.
• Must have one of the following certifications: CySA+ or CEH 
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Must have active TS/SCI clearance
• Must be onsite for this role in Augusta, GA
• Experience working with information assurance
• Experience Interfacing with user community to understand their security needs and implements procedures to accommodate them
• Experience reviewing security results, security information and data
• Familiarity with domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures.
• Experience reviewing vulnerability scans
• Prior knowledge of networking, firewalls and identity information
• Experience working with cyber security tools
• Experience with cyber awareness (e.g., phishing emails, cyber trainings)
• Experience with cybersecurity framework controls or other security controls experience

Preferred:

• Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
