Our GPS Advisory Investigations and Intelligence practice provides investigative expertise to analyze events, people, entities and financial data in order to extract relevant insights for our Federal clients’ mission-critical needs.
The Deloitte professional will support the Economic Security Mission Center (ESMC) within our Federal client by providing economic and trade data research and analysis. This support will help to address economic security threats such as supply chain vulnerabilities, illicit trade, foreign malign economic influence, and intellectual property theft.
Work you’ll do:
- Use data science and development skills to automate manual analytic processes, generate analytic models, and enable analysts to exploit DHS and IC data holdings.
- Establish advanced analysis and data visualization methodologies, models, and tools to derive intelligence outcomes and impacts.
- Provide all aspects of data processing to include aggregating data to production of outputs such as charts to confirm the accuracy of the data and charts displaying specific data sets.
- This work shall include the processing and analysis of economic, financial, and trade information, information to support foreign investment and supply chain risk management vetting, and trends.
- Provide data entry support for ESMC databases on foreign malign economic activity.
- Use data science and development skills to automate these manual processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
- Bachelor's degree is required
- 4+ years of experience as a data scientist, preferably using all-source data or economic, financial, and trade information
- Advanced experience with automation and data visualization
- Familiarity with economic security issues such as intellectual property theft, supply chain security and/or resiliency, foreign malign technology transfer, foreign malign economic influence
- Experience discussing analytic solutions for senior stakeholders
