Work You’ll Do
Serve as a subject matter expert in technology, data protection, confidentiality, and data residency. Manage a portfolio of assessment engagements while juggling competing demands and strict deadlines. Review/analyze globally deployed services and technologies and document findings in a neutral manner. Monitor the privacy landscape for regulatory changes surrounding data privacy, data protection, data confidentiality, data classification, and data residency. Collaborate with Office of General Counsel, Global Privacy and Confidentiality, Deloitte Firms, business unit leaders, and multiple stakeholders to provide a data protection assessment for services and technologies impacting multiple geographies. Bring strategic, operational, and relationship management skills, as well as a keen understanding of the data privacy assessment process, to support the timely and accurate provision of assessment services.

Requirements
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Business, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field and five (5) years of experience as a Consultant, I.T. Analyst or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Business, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related field and three (3) years of experience as a Consultant, I.T. Analyst or related occupation.
Special Requirements: Experience must have included five (5) years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or three (3) years of experience with a Master’s degree with the following special skills:
- Monitor the privacy landscape for regulatory changes surrounding data privacy, data protection, data confidentiality, data classification, and data residency
- Review and analyze globally deployed services and technologies and document findings
- Propose and design solutions to complex application problems for implementing effective security and privacy controls
- Define, review and design system security architecture, privacy architecture including large-scale technology systems, business processes, security and privacy regulatory risk management and propose solutions for security and privacy vulnerabilities
- Conduct Data Privacy Impact assessment for complex applications and services
- Design/Review security and privacy solutions for customization and integration of applications, services, and utilizing leading security industry standards, including GDPR, ISO 27001, ISO 27002 and NIST 800 series
- Working with a supporting team with experience in the fields of technology, legal, privacy and risk
- Assessing the data protection aspects (privacy, confidentiality, residency) of global services and technologies to allow regional stakeholders to determine their risk/adoption strategy
- Managing a portfolio of assessments with competing demands and project deadline
