Position Summary

Data Management Services – Senior Consultant

Our professionals bring domain knowledge, industry experience, and technology capabilities to provide strategic, proactive approaches supporting the future of applied information governance and management in support of client legal, compliance and information technology departments.

Deloitte Discovery’s U.S. operations is comprised of the following services:

  • Data Remediation/Data Migration
  • Legal Business Services
  • eDiscovery Services

 

Work you will do

You will work directly with the Deloitte Discovery Data Remediation/Data Migration team, cross-functional client stakeholders, and outside counsel to solve complex data issues.  You will liaise with other Deloitte Discovery services and Deloitte service areas, and at times work on projects driven by these services (agility is a plus).  This work can take place directly at the client site or may be performed remotely from your home office or at our innovative Electronic Discovery Solutions Center (‘EDSC’) in Hermitage Tennessee.  Here are just some to the things you will be doing:

  • Execute day-to-day activities on client engagements
  • Help prepare and present oral and written reports and presentations
  • Help define resource requirements
  • Supervise and train consultants
  • Work in a hands-on capacity with Relativity and other Discovery technologies
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfaction
  • Participate in initiatives to improve the capabilities of the practice

Qualifications

Required:

 

Preferred:

  • MBA or Business degree with concentration in Information systems
  • Experience manipulating large data sets and with data visualization programs (i.e., Tableau)
  • Experience with natural language processing and machine learning
  • Understanding of information governance and document retention
  • Ability to describe complex technical concepts and ideas in non-technical terms
  • Ability to provide strategy and operations design and implementation services
  • Experience in professional services firm preferred
  • Understanding of e-discovery processes and tools and systems
  • Experience with regulatory archiving, WORM, and SEC 17a3&4 regulations
  • Experience with construction and implementation of records taxonomy
  • Understanding of AWS and/or Azure cloud-based services
