Position Summary

Deloitte is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team.

Must currently have an active TS/SCI Full Scope Poly and be willing to work onsite.

  • Design, develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures to process data and operate data-driven analytics in support of mission and business functions.
  • Discover opportunities for data acquisition. Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production.
  • Employ a variety of languages and tools (e.g., scripting languages) to marry systems together. 
  • Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality. 
  • Conduct research to answer mission and business questions. 
  • Leverage large volumes of data from multiple sources to answer mission and business questions. 
  • Employ sophisticated analytics, programs, machine learning, and statistical methods to prepare date for use in analytical processes and prescriptive modeling. 
  • Explore and examine data for hidden patterns. 
  • Automate work through the use of predictive and prescriptive analytics. 
  • Develop processes to extract/transform/load (ETL) data between different systems.
  • Document results and prepare reports based on analysis that explain the data and results in terms meaningful to stakeholders. 
  • Should be familiar with Agile processes and structures and able to work on a software development team.
