Position Summary

Work you’ll do 

  • Participate in and/or lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contract
  • Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues
  • Review deliverables for accuracy and quality
  • Serve as a “Subject Matter Expert”, adding interpretive value to data presented or experienced insight into a functional process or issue
  • Identify and solve the data-analytics problems related to client's mission
  • Work with mission analysts to help identify, clean and validate various data sets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and uniformity
  • Manage own personal and professional development; seek opportunities for professional growth and expansion of consulting skills and experience

Qualifications 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics disciplines, or related area
  • Ability to maintain the required clearance for this role
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Experience in Program Integrity related activities such as error detection, detecting and investigating Fraud, Waste and Abuse in federal or state programs, financial risk management, case management processes and policies, etc.
  • 3+ year(s) of experience with data quality analysis, statistical analysis and/or modeling (e.g., predictive modeling, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, etc.), financial or cost analysis, internal controls, and/or external/internal financial audit
  • Experience mining and analyzing transactional electronic data with competency in one or more of the following: Python, SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, ACP, IDEA, MATLAB, Visual Basic, Business Intelligence, Hadoop, or Alteryx
  • Experience with data wrangling methods, ETL processes, and understanding of database architecture, design, and functionality
  • Experience with Machine Learning, Python, Pyspark, Apache Spark, GIT repsoitories, revision control, Azure DevOps, Agile Process Management, Apache Iceberg, Athena/Kuberflow/Airflow, Tensorflow, SQL, SSIS, SAS, Visual Studio and C# experience
  • Data visual tools such as Power BI, Excel, Tableau, Qlik, Tibco, Spotfire, etc

Preferred:

  • Previous Federal Consulting and/or professional services experience
  • Certified in SAS, ACL, CPA, CISA, CISSP, PMP, FRM, ASA, and/or CFE 
  • GIS experience - Highly preferred
  • Machine Learning - Highly preferred
