Work You’ll Do
The data analytics consultant is a highly motivated individual who can listen to leadership and provide assistance in the areas of data analysis and visualization, data management, and reporting of performance-related activities and required resources. The consultant is responsible for the constant improvement of data analysis capabilities of the metrics portfolio and insights generated within. The candidate will use skills in analysis, visualization, and storyboarding, identifying multiple/disparate data sets to discern patterns or trends correlating with performance measures; comparing against broader data sets in the government, industry; identifying gaps and limitations in data for resolution by team. In depth knowledge of Tableau.

The GPS Analytics and Cognitive (A&C) offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Secret security clearance required
- 2+ years of experience with Tableau
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis and data visualization
- 2+ years of experience in data management, data cleaning, and data assessments
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Travel up to 25%
Preferred:
- Previous consulting experience
- Database management experience
