Deloitte is hiring a Data Analytics Consultant to support our client in Washington, DC.

Work you’ll do 

  • Support senior government executives in the development of the organization's strategy and business process
  • Assist with the development, collection, analysis, and reporting of data
  • Translate data analysis findings and research principles into written documents.
  • Manipulate and transform data through the use of databases, spreadsheets, and queries
  • Serve as domain knowledgeable resource in advising Deloitte team and client on tools and techniques to improve the development, collection, analysis, and reporting of information
  • Client interaction will be regular and sustained, encompassing both formal presentations and informal, routine communication

The Strategy and Analytics Cross Consulting Group (CCG) is a cohort of client service practitioners who provide cross-functional, enterprise-level data analysis solutions needed to accomplish key policy objectives and make informed decisions. Our CCG practitioners develop advanced analytics products and apply data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data to advance and enable mission outcomes. They also support all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL and from performing analyses to delivery of insights to decision-makers.

Qualifications 

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required  
  • 3+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
  • Strong analytical skills (use of MS SQL Database, R, Microsoft Excel, Macros, Tableau, etc to parse, analyze, and present data)
  • Demonstrated statistical analysis experience (use of statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, Stata, MATLAB, R)
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
  • Travel up to 25%

Preferred: 

  • Strong presentation development and writing skills (e.g., proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word)
  • Ability to facilitate client meetings and workshops to define client processes and requirements
  • Ability to lead small teams to complete a project
  • Experience in one of the following areas: Strategic Management, Quantitative Data Analysis/Reporting, Database Querying, PPBE
