ConvergeFSI Ecosystem Manager (Enabling Manager)

Work You’ll Do

Manage and Drive the ConvergeFSI Ecosystem 

  • Manage daily interactions and establish regular cadence with ConvergeFSI ecosystem partners – driving progress on contracting, co-development, sales, and marketing activities
  • Drive increased connectivity between Deloitte and the ecosystem partners to help scale the ConvergeFSI business
  • Facilitate leadership discussions across both internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate and drive end to end contracting with ConvergeFSI ecosystem partners, including identifying risk areas, flagging issues, bringing in the ‘right’ leaders from the Deloitte ConvergeFSI business team, alliance teams, QRM, OGC, etc. when needed for appropriate face off with the ecosystem partners
  • Advise the ConvergeFSI ecosystem team on build, GTM, and ecosystem partner decisions with clear guidelines and governance to enable effective partnerships
  • Manage and track financials (investments, pipeline, sales, revenue) for the ConvergeFSI ecosystem to realize value for our collective contributions
  • Work with the Deloitte ConvergeFSI business team to manage conflicts:
    • Identify friction points amongst partners and execute mitigating strategies for resolution
    • Address ecosystem partner poor performance
    • Assess and flag potential independence conflicts
  • Help develop and execute a portfolio strategy across ecosystem partners, defining how partners can enhance their contribution to the ConvergeFSI ecosystem's success
    • Define KPIs, establish tracking process, and assess performance against the KPIs across the ecosystem
    • Perform executive reporting, including KPIs, opportunity pipeline, and ROI tracking
    • Bring ecosystem partners into opportunities and provide end-to-end opportunity management to help drive “speed to market”
    • Manage onboarding and offboarding of ecosystem partners as the portfolio changes to address new solution needs and performance issues

Provide Input to the Evolution of the E&A Ecosystems Capability

  • Provide input to the Ecosystem Activation Playbook, which serves as the blueprint for the formation and activation of ecosystems
  • Leverage experience gained from managing and driving the ConvergeFSI ecosystem to provide insights to E&A Ecosystem leadership as part of the ongoing effort to improve ecosystem activation efforts

The team

  • Deloitte Consulting Ecosystems Team is made up of ecosystem managers and their respective ecosystem teams, as well as a core team of professionals running the day to day operations. The Ecosystems team is part of a larger Ecosystems & Alliances (E&A) team, and works closely with the go-to-market team for the ConvergeFSI E&A enables differentiated, innovative go-to-market solutions that bring quantified value to our clients and incremental revenue to the firm.

Qualifications

  • Required
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 8 years + of relevant, program / stakeholder management experience, with 2 years + managing medium to high degree of complexity
    • Strong business acumen including experience in project management and business strategy
    • Strong understanding of foundational technology concepts and aptitude for learning new technologies
    • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external constituencies, including senior level executives, technical teams, and business partners (e.g., alliance partners and other marketplace business relationships)
    • Familiarity with performance management and executive reporting, including managing KPIs, opportunity pipeline, and investment tracking
    • Previous market / client-facing experience on client pursuits / selling
    • Travel up to 30% (while 30% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
  • Preferred
    • Previous alliance management or ecosystem experience
    • Advanced degree a plus
  • Skills
    • Program oversight / management, including:
      • Senior stakeholder engagement and management, including ability to influence across a diverse set of executive leadership in a highly matrixed organization
      • Facilitating leadership discussions across both internal and external networks
      • Executive reporting, including KPIs, opportunity pipeline, and ROI tracking
    • Strong executive presence and persuasive executive communication (verbal and written) skills that drive strategic discussion and alignment on key decisions
    • Ability to effectively interact with and manage external (non-Deloitte) and Deloitte stakeholders around asset co-development, joint go-to-market activities, and deal structuring
    • Structured problem solving, with the ability to distill disparate information to quickly connect the dots across diverse perspectives and produce a logical path forward
    • Technology literacy and ability to translate between business leaders and technical teams developing solutions
    • Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness, and coordination across a large group of stakeholders
    • Ability to anticipate and identify risks, and identify the 'right' leaders to bring in to address in a timely fashion
