Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Studio Lead in San Jose, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Manage digital and service UX/UI (User Experience and User Interface) design, practicing a rigorous design process that includes ethnographic research, synthesis, insight generation, ideation, design, prototyping, and testing; utilize these designs to drive innovative and transformative technology solutions that address their next generational needs. Manage the design of modern and industry specific solutions to deliver outcomes that improve flexibility, scalability and cost management using conversational User Interface augmented, virtual or mixed reality and motion design. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients. Manage and lead aspects of the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Design, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.
Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Driving user-centered design (UCD) process methods for digital solutions from concept to launch, utilizing generative and evaluative research methods, including interviews, workshops, ideation, field testing, card sorting, ethnographic research, and prototyping/iterative testing;
• Managing custom information architectures, user flows and journeys, personas and scenarios, and wireframe artifacts, utilizing user research insights, user feedback, mapping business processes, storyboarding, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, and Mural;
• Facilitating workshops and user testing sessions that meet business goals and ensure a positive user experience;
• Supporting business development activities, including proposal development and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs);
• Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverables status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing strategic roadmaps, Agile methodologies, Microsoft (MS) Excel, product roadmap, product backlog, and Kanban boards;
• Overseeing the creation of cover artwork, illustrations, photo manipulation, and editing, utilizing Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, 3D software Revit and Sketchup, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Figma for web assets.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
Salary: $217,610.00 - $218,625.00.
