Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Studio Lead in Houston, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects, including development and implementation, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage technical teams to architect, build and deploy solutions. Manage and deliver components of engagements, within the full software development life cycle. Participate and lead aspects of the information technology project proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

  • 15% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Leading information technology projects in the Energy, Banking and Telemedia sectors, utilizing Cloud, IoT, Fullstack Technologies, DevOps, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence;
  • Managing teams that participate in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design, flow mapping, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures, utilizing Scrum, Agile, Feature driven development (FDD), and Rapid application development (RAD);
  • Developing, maintaining, and managing project schedule and deliverables for clients, leveraging Trello and Asana;
  • Defining performance measures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based on stakeholders’ discussions, data, and trend analysis, using Power BI and Excel;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs, using Lucidchart, Diagrams.net, FigJam, and Ilograph;
  • Managing business processes and driving customer requirements, scenario development, and technical implementation utilizing Asana, Kissflow, Orchestly, and ProcessMaker;
  • Leading Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Web and Mobile Apps, Cloud and Cyber Security development, utilizing Datadog, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Splunk, Docker and Jest; and
  • Creating plans to mitigate risks and issues over the course of the project, and performing scope management, using JIRA, Remedy Change Management, and ServiceNow.
