Work You’ll Do
Drive database administration team in deployments of coding, cloning, refreshing, patching, backups, and restoring of multiple middleware components. Work across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall lifecycle for the design, development, testing, and implementation of Extract Transform Load (ETL), Analytical and Business reports, and Data Warehouse solutions for enterprise-level clients. Translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical Data Models, and focus on issues including reducing redundancy of data and improving the way in which it moves from one system to another. Coordinate and hold Technical Peer Reviews with Subject Matter Authorities and Stakeholder communities to discuss and perform requirements and impact analysis to understand the data elements in their domains, relationships among those elements, and interdependencies between models. Conduct data risk assessments, data mappings, and lifecycles; build data governance models. Maintain system security, both technical and data security, by implementing security standards including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and multi-factor authentication. Design and develop data validation processes; perform data analysis and profiling to identify data gaps using data quality and data profiling tools to rectify data redundancies and anomalies. Conduct workshops with businesses to analyze existing landscapes to understand existing source systems, business processes, and data flow jobs. Ensure design reflects appropriate business rules, and facilitates data integration, data conformity, and data integrity. Ensure data structures are designed for flexibility to support future business needs and enhancements.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Providing expertise in activities including maintaining instances, maintaining file systems, and taking appropriate backups for security and consistency utilizing disaster recovery strategies and application load balancing concepts;
- Performing database level user management in managing the profiles at the user, responsibility, and site levels through use of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS);
- Utilizing Extract Transformation Load (ETL) tools including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to transform and load data to Data Warehouse for client-specific analytical and data storage requirements by designing and developing solutions using Visual Studio;
- Designing and developing database queries, triggers, procedures, functions, and packages for ETL processes and Data analytics by employing SSMS;
- Utilizing SQL Server tools including Profiler, Dynamic Management Views (DMV), and Extended Events to conduct performance tuning of batch queries;
- Driving technical aspects of project delivery, including program and database testing, and making modifications to resolve errors utilizing third party tools including Spotlight and Dynatrace;
- Performing Cloud Migrations of On-Premise Databases to Cloud, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft (MS) Azure; and
- Delivering management reporting solutions to clients, using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
