Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Senior in Sacramento, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud; may perform design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Operating Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Drive various aspects of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which may include requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, and escalations of urgent issues. Design and develop data governance standards, roles and responsibilities; design data conversion strategies and facilitate data conversion, mapping and cleansing workshops to support the clients’ conversion to Cloud. Perform assessments of existing information systems, identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Driving implementations of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), utilizing Salesforce and Agile methodology;
  • Designing conversion strategies and mapping rules between legacy data and the current system database to facilitate data conversion to current system’s data structure utilizing data warehouse tools, including Informatica and Snowflake;
  • Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development, utilizing MS Vizio;
  • Developing detailed implementation plans for deploying Salesforce capabilities, functionalities, and integrations, establishing key project milestones, and developing high-level architecture to drive Digital transformation projects, including monitoring and identifying project issues, in order to mitigate risks;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs, utilizing Mulesoft and Salesforce cloud platforms, including Sales, Service, CPQ, Marketing and Analytics;
  • Working across all phases of the Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid lifecycles to define project approaches and driving implementation activities across the Solution Delivery Lifecycle (SLC) to design, develop, test, and implement cloud-based applications by utilizing Scrum and SAFe methodologies for enterprise-level clients in the Customer and Marketing (C&M) industry; and
  • Tracking application defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing Agile Accelerator and Jira iTrack.
