Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Master in Dallas, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Advising on strategy and designing, implementing, migrating, and operating SAP on cloud solutions including cloud operations optimization, native development, integration, and as-aservice based services. Managing day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors. Managing and delivering full life cycle implementation of SAP products starting from requirements gathering, project preparation, blue print, realization and creative business solutions for large companies. Design SAP solutions in public cloud platforms. Managing teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures. Developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers at key clients. Participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process. Contributing to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Estimating time and resources needed for the development work. Functioning as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients business needs. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, processing design, prototyping, testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources and monitor project progress. Writing functional and technical system requirements and use cases, creating process flow diagrams, and finalizing system requirements. Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) techniques. Working across all phases of the project delivery lifecycle for the design, development, testing and implementation of SAP and Cloud solutions for enterprise-level clients using Agile, Waterfall, SAP, and Cloud. Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes and environments. Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver SAP solutions that satisfy client needs. Performing Upgradation, Migration, Unicode Conversion, Implementation and Sizing SAP NetWeaver products in public & private Cloud and the following databases: Oracle, Structured Query Language (SQL), DB2, Sybase, and SAP HANA. Defining SAP strategy and roadmap for enterprise level clients. Implementing SAP Solution Manger (SolMan) for monitoring SAP solutions, architecting and implementing SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ), SAP Lumira, SAP Hybris, and SAP Cloud Connector for SAP digital transformation for clients. Designing solution using SAP Cloud Platform, architecting High Availability & Disaster Recovery for business continuity, designing archiecture using the following third party tools: BSI Tax Factory, Taxware, UC4, and Control-M for client's day-to-day operations. Designing and delivering user manuals and training for SAP solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and maintenance in client environments. Supporting SAP on Cloud business development activities, including proposal development and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline and three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of progressive related work experience. Must also have three (3) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Full life cycle implementation of SAP products starting from requirements gathering, project preparation, blue print phase and realization phase.
  • Provide solutions for SAP related problems, design and deploy SAP and HANA solutions.
  • Responsible for system monitoring, performance tuning and system copy.
  • Work on SAP naming conventions for new environments and responsible for upgrades, migration, Unicode conversion, hardware sizing, storage, networks and planned for new implementation.
  • Work on Databases including Oracle, SQL, DB2, Sybase, and HANA.
  • Apply ABAP/JAVA support packs, Enhancement Packs, Kernel upgrades and implement all NetWeaver products (SCM, Live cache, SLT, GRC, S/4HANA, B/4HANA, CRM, SRM, SCM, and ESS/MSS portal).
  • Work on Solution Manager implementation and monitoring setup.
  • Architecting and implementing new generation SAP products.
